Food safety is the first ingredient in every jelly. This is how we look after it.
Clean, organised workplace
Floors, tables, tools and equipment are cleaned and sanitised regularly, and the work area is kept tidy and free of clutter.
Personal hygiene
Staff wash hands before handling food, wear clean aprons and hair covers, keep nails short, and stay away from food work when unwell.
Safe ingredients
Ingredients come from trusted suppliers, are checked on arrival, and are stored properly and used within their dates.
Clean, food-safe packaging
Jelly candy is packed in clean, clear tubs with lids, so the product is protected and you can see it.
Clean water and equipment
Clean water is used in making and cleaning, and utensils and equipment are washed and dried after use.
Pest control and waste
